The Animal Seeker is the proud recipient of the 2014 KART Kids Booklist Award for excellence in creative story telling. KART (Kids Are Readers Too) KIds promotes and implements children's literacy programs and services around the world. The foundation also awards grants and distributes free books to children through various outlets. One of their most exciting projects is the KART Digital Broadcasting Network (KART-DBN) where children's audio books can be heard 24/7. The Animal Seeker is an environmental fiction book for ages 8-12. It models good stewardship of our planet and all its life forms through creative story telling.
